South Central Ambulance Services, otherwise known as SCAS, donated an ambulance to our project.
It’s hard to put across how grateful we are! Without their help, this project couldn’t happen. SCAS are the ambulance group that operate in Oxfordshire, and across the South of England. Our first contact with them was during our 5th year Emergency Department attachment, during which we all had the opportunity to join a paramedic on shift. When we committed to this project, it made sense to talk to SCAS first and we haven’t looked back since.
